Hello Blogland!
Well, here it is, it's Wednesday... halfway through the holiday. How have I coped with my "do something every day mission?" - I am surprising myself!
Monday - Planned Haircut - turned into a Scooter-thon at the local park.
4.30pm Fairland Valley Park - watching Sunset
Action Man! (he started the day with a coat - I promise!)
Tuesday - Auntie Mandy came to the rescue! - and took care of yesterday's Planned Haircut! - of course, they just walked straight into the hairdressers, and sat down straight away - no waiting, and were back in about 20 minutes flat. Note to self. Send Mandy again next time.... ;-)
Haircut - 19 Feb
Wednesday
NO plans planned.... Oh no!!! what to do!!!!!!!!!! - Auntie Mandy and I bundled Lucas into the Car and went on a magical mystery tour - and ended up here! - Deacon Hill
Mountain Climbing - it was a very steep hill!
We had a well deserved Pub Lunch at The Raven, Hexton - which Lucas showed off all his charming manners to a tee :)
So now its 8pm and Lucas is fast asleep! - not surprised :)
Tomorrow?
Its Thursday.... Tennis Lesson day... more photos to follow...
Friday??? to be continued ....

Half Term
Its half-term week! - no school! - Lucas is a very happy little boy :-)
I have decided to put my Pro-active Head on.
--- hmmm, its a bit tight ---
Tomorrow is Monday - and I have decided we are going to achieve a different "task" each day of the week.
Monday's task...... To Get Lucas a Haircut!
Tomorrow (hopefully) we will go into Old Town and sit still in the Barber Shop and wait his turn -
That is tomorrow's mission! - We have been going to this same man for about 5 cuts now, his wife used to be Lucas' Dinner Lady.
I will be setting the "stress-levels" to LOW - and be hoping they will not increase to MEDIUM - if they reach HIGH? Hmmmm.... fingers crossed we have LOW..
It is 10pm at night.... and Lucas is watching TV - he is fascinated by the programme he is watching..... - and has pleaded that he watches it all.....
It's the Wonders of Life - with Professor Brian Cox.... Lucas is 8! and he is talking back to the TV - with interest!!! incredible.
Well, its ok, there's no school tomorrow.

feelings 2.0
Hello Blogland
I'm back.... Mood is still "ask me again next week" - but strangely I do feel a bit more positive - I have taken action on a few things, and seem to heading towards the right track.
To the people that contacted me last week. Thank you - thank you.
I did NOT go to the Angels meeting (bad me!) but I did have a chat with Lucas' Tennis Teacher - as he had a massive "Fright Fight Flight" attack - we have compared notes and have an action plan. A positive step - It was just a Group Reaction, it was to be expected - this was the first one.
He has a 1-1 lesson on Tuesday - and there will be photographs :-)
I booked an appointment to have a chat with Lucas' Teacher - and as at this morning I was still awaiting the appointment time. Lucas was 1 minute late this morning, so I thought - best take him to the Office and sign him in, then we were met at the Office Door by the Headmistress. She very sweetly took Lucas in and said - He's not late! - I will make sure he's registered on time - in you go Lucas! - then she turned to me and said you wanted a meeting with Lucas' Teacher? Step into my Office.....
Panic Panic Panic..... completely unprepared! - what do I say - braincell - quick!!! what did I want to say???? - I remembered!!!! - it is amazing what you can remember in 2 seconds.
I just said - Maybe I am over-reacting, but Lucas really isn't happy at the moment and I need to cover all areas for my piece of mind. She said - Not to Worry! I did the right thing (etc etc etc) and that she was unaware of any problems, but would be talking to his teacher. I explained that molehills can be mountains and I'd rather tackle the smallest of molehills - she was great.
She then said - OK have a great Half-term - and come and see me at the end of the first week!
I have been ordered!
SO! - I have "done my bit" - now can someone look after me instead?
Action plan.... Go to Angels..... OK scratch that - its Half-term.
New Action Plan - have a fun-filled action-packed Half-Term Break with Lucas -
(send him to Auntie Mandy's :-) !!!!)
Lucas finished the week on a very positive note
He had a priviledge on Monday - and he managed to keep it all week until Friday
He had "Friday golden time" at school - a reward for Priviledge Holders.
He also had "Laptop Time!" - his own personal reward from his Teacher for being on time for school every day this week!
He also earned an Eiffel Tower from Auntie Mandy for trying hard for the past 3 weeks (15 stepping Stones earned).
(Ravensburger 3D Puzzle - purchased at 7.35pm - Box opened at 8pm Tower built by 21.27pm)
Tomorrow it will have pride of place on his Trainset Table - where he has a Big Ben Model - and a Eurostar train....... - maybe if he is REALLY good - he may go on the real thing this year some day.

Feelings - a bit deep and meaningful
Hello Blogland
How are you?
Its Pancake Day - and I've done the matriachal thing and cooked up lots of pancakes today - I also managed to drop a pint of milk and watch the bottle smash into lots of pieces along with the river of flowing milk pouring out too - Now that was fun. As at the time of typing I "think" every single shard has been recovered - note to all - Nope - I'm not crying..... :-) - its only spilt milk :-)
I also discovered that Asda Chocolate and Caramel Sandwich Spread makes the best Pancake sauce when melted in the Microwave for a minute.
Ok.... So... how's my mood today? Hmmm its "definitely in call me next week and I'll get back to you...."
When I started all this (forced) ASD Aspergers Training there was a phrase that kept recurring. Fellow parents quoting their feelings as ".... everyone is going to Paris.... we are planning to go to Paris - but instead - we discover we have arrived in Amsterdam......" I think I am slowly realising what this means... Oh well - better late than never.
I definitely feel split away from all my friends. The lonlieness is a killer. All my friends have "moved on" yet I feel I am stuck in a ditch at a road block. The Policeman at the road block is very nice, but not exactly very helpful.
A friend last night actually said - We are off to Paris in May are you coming too? I politely said - No, sadly we are not... - I didn't have the energy to go into detail. - It's much easier to just smile sweetly and carry on.
Lucas is struggling at his new school. He does not like it. He got a priviledge yesterday, but was borderline meltdown all evening.
Tomorrow is Wednesday - I will try and get to the Angels Meeting tomorrow - it may help.
..... going to raid the Chocolate Sauce..... (if there's any left......)
Best wishes to all
Love
Louise
